Civic Trees (Scotland) is a division of greenfingers. Established in 1949 it was the biggest independent firm or landscape contractors in Scotland at that time. Semi-mature tree supply and planting was in its infancy at this time and Civic Trees pioneered the transplanting of large trees supplying trees to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Falkirk cities.
Nowadays we still supply and plant semi–mature trees but have expanded the service to offer a complete package.
With all of these years of experience of working on busy Housing Developments we are very used to the uniquely demanding schedules developments work to.
We carry out work for many leading house builders, constructing show gardens and then soft landscaping the development. Our skilled landscapers carry out ground preparation, seeding or turfing, planting trees and shrubs and aftercare maintenance. We source our plants from local nursery’s as well national and international nurseries.
Our Contracts Manager and Foremen will get to know your project in detail and establish a working relationship with your site based managers responding to their deadlines as best they can.
We have a number of teams to enable capacity on site when its needed and are used to working around other tradespeople in the rush to finish a property.
